Hello:

My name is Adeola. I am 15 and in the 10th grade. I feel that I am a good role model to others because I am in an organization called YWAT. It stands for young women’s action team. We work on violence toward women including teen dating violence, girl on girl violence, abusive relationships, sexism, racism and much more. Our group raises money for children each Christmas. I have attended workshops and also learned how to mentor other teens. I’ve done marches and donated to victims of Hurricane Katrina. I inspire young, old, and girls my age to take action on issues that affect their lives. I want to let it be known that everyone can make a difference in this world, and become an inspirational leader know matter how old you are. I work towards social justice because I believe this can be a safer world.
