Betty Page was admitted to the hospital lasts month suffering from an pnuemonia and a week ago she was placed on a monitor because she  had a heart attack but she was not able to regain her consciousness. 

The famous 1950’s pin up star was a icon known for her provocative poses and she helped pave the way for the sexual revolution of the 1960’s. Her agent said: ”She captured the imagination of a generation of men and women with her free spirit and unabashed sensuality; She is the embodiment of beauty.”

Hugh Hefner said “I think that she was a remarkable lady, an iconic figure in pop culture who influenced sexuality, taste in fashion, someone who had a tremendous impact on our society”.

It’s a very sad day for many who were inspired by her like myself.
