they are celebrities because they are perceived as more perfect than the average person. making them plain would make celebrities not so special.
or you could think about it this way, these people are famous now. they dont need to be perfect specimens of the human body anymore (AND THATS WHAT MAGAZINES LOOK FOR SO IF YOU CANT HANDLE THAT OR BE HEALTHY ENOUGH TO LOOK LIKE THAT, THEN THAT SUCKS FOR YOU. STOP WHINING), they can slack off a tiny bit more than b4 because a company is willin to find a high profile star and mold their body to what they want rather than find a body they want and try to mold them into a high profile star. the latter is much more difficult.
if u put in a lot of work and find a lot of success, they are willing to cut u some slack on maintaining perfection since u’ve already reached that plateau and stayed there long enough not to get forgotten.
