Beyonce & JAY-Z – Forbes richest couple 2008
Rapper Jay-Z and singer Beyonce Knowles were No. 1 on Forbes’ list of richest Hollywood couples.
According to Forbes, the musical pair earned $162 million between June 1, 2007 and June 1, 2008. Jay-Z reportedly brought in $82 million while
Beyonce earned $80 million.Jay-Z and Beyonce’s earnings nearly doubled that of the runner-up on Forbes’ list — actor Will Smith and wife, Jada. According to Forbes, the Smiths made $85 million, with most of the money coming from Smith’s roles in “Hancock” and “I Am Legend.”No. 3 on the Forbes list were soccer star David Beckham and his wife — actress/singer Victoria. Forbes reported that the British couple earned $58 million, which put them ahead of country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, who reportedly earned $35 million.
