Keep On Moving

Hey guys…i move every two years or so and i really havent had a big problem with it, but now i am.  I have just moved to california and shcool is about to start soon, and that means that i have to start making new friends…AGAIN!  My dad says that it is good to have friends all over the world but i have never moved out of the state of georgia!  Its really annoying how each time i make some new friends, i just have to up and leave them again, and again, and again.  So we are probably gonna end up moving a couple more times, but i dont no how i am  going to handle leaving new friends all over again.  Do i just stop making friends until im sure that we are not going to move anymore???  HELP!!!

Our advice: Your dad does make some sense in having a number of friends all over. However, we know it must hurt to have to leave the friends you made. You have to go out there and just make friends. You never know if you will move for sure and it is your parents decision if you do move yet again. Enjoy the time you have in your new residence to the fullest. Just go out there and make friends!

Try to find real close friends and ask if they have any friends where you are moving then call them or email

I know its hard making new friends but it gets easier
My advice is to make A few really great freinds and hold on to them tight
Dont let nothing get between you.
    Everything will be alright

I AGREE WITH YOUR VERDICT THAT YOU SHOULD STOP MAKING FRIENDS WHICH OIS ONE ANSWER OR YOU CAN FIND SOME FRIENDS THAT YOU HAVE IN THE PLACE BEFORE YOU MOVE AND ASK THEM FOR THEIR PHONE NUMBERS SO YOU CAN CALL THEM.

Moving around can be very stressfull but needles to say your father is right about having friends all over. You should have a serous conversation with your father about this and tell him how you feel tell him its not sy to give a child a gift and them pry them away from it. Its actually cruel if i do say so myself. And extremely frustrating. And if that doesn’t work look to the bright side of things many kids would kill to be able to travel and since you move ever year make the best of your year in what ever state, city,or country you are in.

I understand you because i just moved last summer and it really hurt me because I didn’t know i would be moving so I didn’t get to say goodbye to any of my friends from school. So when school started I went to my new school and I hated it. I cried everyday afterschool for the first 2 months. But now I love it! I don’t even want 2 go back 2 my old school now!

So I agree with Vanessa and Angela

    Have fun!
