PASTRY SHOES CELEBRATES WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH
Hello, out there! Since March is Women’s History Month, let’s take this time to shout out women who made a difference in the world. Some of my favorites are: Susan B. Anthony, Fannie Lou Hammer, Hellen Keller, Sen. Hillary Clinton, Halle Berry, Celia Cruz, Dr. Johnetta Cole, Queen Elizabeth I, Condoleezza Rice, and Oprah Winfrey.Send in some of your favorite notable women in history. It will be Pastry’s way of educating, empowering, and inspiring other women in the Pastry sisterhood. Share! Share! Share!

March 4th, 2008 at 5:09 pmMs. Josephine Baker and Trya Banks are big inspirations and role models to me. I hope they are for anyone else also!
March 4th, 2008 at 6:36 pmI would have to say Dorothy Dandridge, Billie Holiday,Bessie Coleman, and Madam C. J. Walker are big influences in women’s history.
March 5th, 2008 at 6:39 pmJosie Miller (my great-grandma…still alive). She’s not in any history books, but she should be. And of course Godma Oprah (don’t ask), Phillis Wheatley, Selena Quintanilla-Perez, Kate Winslet (LOVE LOVE LOVE her), um… Doris Day, Audrey Hepburn, JUDY GARLAND, Mary McCleod-Bethune (I used to be obsessed with going to Bethune-Cookman when I was little), Carol Burnett, Terri Christian (my mommy <3), Beyonce Knowles (stating the obvious), Stephanie Mills, Phylicia Rashad, Debbie Allen, Tia Mowry, Tamera Mowry, Belle (from “Beauty and the Beast”)^_^, and Ethelene Christian (i miss my Mema, but she still inspires me).
Not sure if we were supposed to write a book. LOL! (turn the page, wash your hands) I’m sure that’s not all, but we’ll leave it at that.
