He Says One Thing Then Another
Dear Vanessa and Angela Simmons;
I really like this guy at school called “Spencer” and I know he like’s me too because he told me that, my friends told me that and his cousin told me that. I really wanted to get with him so I asked my friend to do me a favor and ask him if he is still into me. She texted me later that day and he told her that he never did like me. But how could I believe him when he told me face to face that he likes me? Am I just wasting my time liking a guy that doesn’t want to admit he has feelings for me?
Our advice: It seems that “Spencer” is saying two different things at two different times. It seems from what you’ve relayed that he is not consistent with his feelings. Maybe he does like you, maybe he doesn’t. Either way, if he can’t admit across the board that he likes you then there is a problem. Until he knows what he wants for sure, with you or without you, it may be best to leave him alone. There is someone out there who will tell the world he likes you. Move on to that person!
