Friend Before Guy?

hey v and a . i am in junior high and all the talk is around boys. well i really like this boy “Robert” and he likes me too but he is going out with my friend “Kim”, but they dont even talk. i like him way more than “Kim” does and he said he likes me more. what should i do. should end my friendship with “Kim” or should i go out with “Robert”?

Our advice: We understand that you really like Robert but if you value your friendship with Kim you should talk to her about it. Ask her how she really feels about Robert. Ask her how serious she is about him. If she really is not that into him, let her know that you like him and have feelings for him. If she doesn’t care go for it. However, if Kim says she really likes Robert do not go after him. Leave the situation alone!

Friendships are way too important to compromise. You can find someone else.
