Flirtatious Friend or Foe?
Dear Angela and Vanessa,
My name Is “Lia”, Im 13 and in the 8th grade. I have a best friend named “Natalie”. We knew each other seen the 3th grade, I also have a boyfriend named “Keith”. We been going out for 3 and a half months now. Here’s the problem… “Natalie” keeps on tell me when “Keith” is not around that she thinks “Keith” Is Sexy or cute, even one day she told me If i wasnt dating “Keith” she would ask him out!! On that same day she firted with him RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE! HELP! What should I do?
Our advice: If you have a boyfriend that you find attractive, you can almost bet that other people, including a best friend, will find him attractive too. Just because you two are a couple does not change that. Consider it a compliment when others think your boyfriend is cute. You should not be threatened when others notice him. Maybe you should tell your friend how you feel about her complimenting your boyfriend. Complimenting a boyfriend is not the same as stealing a boyfriend. Just because she finds him attractive does not mean she is trying to go after him. Her flirtation might not have been intentional. It might have been an innocent flirtation on her part. If you are still insecure, tell your friend how you feel and decide what she can and can’t do around “Keith”. If she is aware of how you feel she will probably stop with the compliments and flirtation.
What do you think? Is she being irrational about these compliments or do you think her good friend is really after her boyfriend? What would you do?

well, i think you should talk to your friend and tell her how you feel and if she dosent think that is a good idea, maybe thats not your real friend. Thanks
